Result Fields and Scoring
Understand quality scores, anonymity, network type, benchmark fields, leak signals, and chain grades.
This page summarizes the most important result labels across ZeroTrace Proxy tools.
Checker Quality
| Label | Score range |
|---|---|
| High | 80 to 100 |
| Medium | 60 to 79 |
| Low | 35 to 59 |
| Poor | 0 to 34 |
The score considers latency, HTTPS support, anonymity, and authentication signals.
Checker rows also keep raw proxy, normalized proxy, alive/dead status, detected protocol, auth signal, has-auth flag, HTTP support, HTTPS support, latency, exit IP, country code, country, region, city, network type, network confidence, ASN, ISP, organization, error, and checked timestamp.
Anonymity
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Elite | No configured leak signals were detected in the relevant test. |
| Anonymous | Proxy works but is not fully clean or lacks enough signal for elite. |
| Transparent | Forwarding headers expose proxy behavior. |
| Unknown | The tool could not classify confidently. |
Network Type
| Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Residential | Heuristics suggest an ISP/residential network. |
| Mobile | Heuristics suggest mobile carrier or wireless network. |
| Datacenter | Heuristics suggest hosting, cloud, VPS, or datacenter network. |
| Unknown | No confident classification. |
Benchmark Fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total runs | Number of benchmark attempts. |
| Pass count | Successful attempts. |
| Fail count | Failed attempts. |
| Success rate | Pass count divided by total runs. |
| Average latency | Average successful latency. |
| Best latency | Fastest success. |
| Worst latency | Slowest success. |
Benchmark rows also keep raw proxy, normalized proxy, status, detected protocol, HTTPS support, exit IP, country/location data, last error, and benchmarked timestamp.
Leak Signals
| Signal | Meaning |
|---|---|
| via | Target saw a Via header. |
| forwarded | Target saw a Forwarded header. |
| x-forwarded-for | Target saw an X-Forwarded-For header. |
| proxy-authorization | Proxy auth header appeared in the inspected request. |
| origin-mismatch | Target-reported origin did not match observed exit IP. |
Leak rows keep raw proxy, normalized proxy, detected protocol, status, latency, exit IP, country/location data, anonymity, per-signal flags, origin value, sorted leak signal list, leak count, error, and tested timestamp.
Viewer Attempt Fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Scheme | Candidate scheme tried for the proxy. |
| Normalized proxy | Proxy string after parser normalization. |
| Requested URL | Target URL for that attempt. |
| Success | Whether the attempt produced a usable response. |
| Status | HTTP status code and status text when available. |
| Latency | Attempt duration. |
| Final URL | URL after redirects. |
| Redirect count | Number of redirects followed. |
| Exit IP | Observed exit IP when available. |
| Error | Failure detail when the attempt failed. |
Chain Grades
Chain results receive a score and grade. Higher scores favor alive chains, HTTPS support, HTTP support, all hops working, and lower latency.
| Grade | Score |
|---|---|
| A | 90 to 100 |
| B | 75 to 89 |
| C | 60 to 74 |
| D | 40 to 59 |
| F | 0 to 39 |
Chain rows also keep original chain, normalized chain, hop count, working hop count, failed hop index, HTTP/HTTPS support, status codes, latencies, redirect count, final URL, exit IP, country/location data, error, hop detail, and tested timestamp.
Runtime Counters
| Runtime | Counters and state |
|---|---|
| Chain Engine | Endpoint URL, requested/bound port, active chain, route count, healthy route count, last exit IP, last notice/error, last health timestamp, started/stopped timestamps, request/success/failure count, switch count, bytes received, and bytes sent. |
| Rotation Engine | Endpoint URL, requested/bound port, active rotator, active source, active proxy, source count, available/cooling/quarantined counts, last exit IP, last switch reason, last notice/error, last health timestamp, request/success/failure count, switch count, bytes received, and bytes sent. |
Scores are selection aids. Always combine them with your workflow requirement, target, geography, and leak-test result.
