Discover Proxy Chains

Use Chain Tester autonomous harmony to search for working multi-hop chains.

Autonomous harmony lets ZeroTrace Proxy search for working chains from a source proxy set.

1. Prepare Candidates

Start with proxies that already passed checking. Chain search is more useful when the input list is not full of dead candidates.

Recommended input pool tags:

  • checked
  • https
  • benchmark-next
  • country or source tags if relevant

2. Open Chain Tester

  1. Go to Core Tools -> Test Proxy Chains.
  2. Choose the proxy input source.
  3. Enable Autonomous harmony.
  4. Set task name to Docs harmony demo.

3. Configure Harmony

ControlStarter value
OrderPasted for predictable expansion, permuted for wider search.
Max hops2 or 3 for the first run.
Max candidates3000 unless testing a very small list.
Beam widthKeep default unless you know the list is large and noisy.
Expected status200
Resolve countryEnabled if exit location matters.

4. Review Results

Prioritize:

  1. alive status
  2. grade A or B
  3. all hops working
  4. HTTPS support
  5. acceptable latency
  6. expected exit IP or country
  7. no surprising failed hop

5. Save a Chain

After identifying a promising chain:

  1. Open Chain Engine -> Chains.
  2. Create a chain definition.
  3. Add each hop in the tested order.
  4. Add labels so the route is understandable later.
  5. Attach the Balanced policy or a custom policy.
  6. Save.

Longer chains are not automatically better. Each hop adds latency and another failure point.
