ZeroTrace requires a license key to activate and unlock all features. This guide explains how to obtain, activate, and manage your license now supporting both device and dashboard-based workflows.
📥 Obtaining Your License Key
You can access your ZeroTrace license key in two ways:
- Pre-activated on all purchased devices (ready for immediate use)
- Available on your dashboard before registration, after device purchase
🔐 Important: Treat your license key like a password. Store it securely as it cannot be recovered if lost.
🛠 License Activation Process
For New Devices
- Locate Your Key:
- Check your email receipt
- Find it in your account dashboard after registration
- Physical card included with some purchases
- Activate via Device Web Interface:
- Power on your ZeroTrace device
- Connect to its WiFi network (e.g.,
Phone X ZT) - Open
192.168.4.1in your browser - Navigate to License Activation
- Enter your exact license key (case-sensitive, no spaces)
- Select Activate
For Dashboard Users
- Automatic Activation: If your device is pre-activated, your license will appear in your dashboard automatically no manual entry needed.
- Manual Activation: If prompted, you can enter the license key shown in your dashboard directly in the device web interface.
🎉 Dashboard Users: When you register a purchased device, your license will be automatically linked to your account and device no manual entry needed for pre-activated units.
⚠️ Troubleshooting Common Issues
